LCPS Singers Perform in London!

On the 29th January, children from year 4 and 5 gave a spectacular performance at the 02 as part of the Young Voices Choir. It was a truly amazing experience with over 7,000 children singing together and performing. My thanks to all the adults who’ve supported the children since we started rehearsing in September, and to all the children who showed commitment in learning the songs and dance moves. 1950s Anniversary At the beginning of last term, we went back to the 1950s as part of our Anniversary Celebrations. Along with other groups, the children in period costume set off from the site of former pub, The Globe. Dozens of angry residents had gathered there for the monthly benevolent club meeting to discuss the hardship being caused by the astronomically rising prices…

Each class ‘adopted’ a country and then learnt about the language, food, geography and culture of countries from Samoa to Argentina and from Fiji to South Africa. On the Friday we all travelled ‘around the world’ visiting each country and…
