In March 2017, Just 4U Cakes, moved to the outskirts of Pymoor. Since 2014, Clair’Marie has run a successful cake business, gaining much credibility for her delicious, fresh bakes and artistic talent. She has won four International Awards to date and has received an overwhelming, positive response from local customers since opening her doors here in April.
Clair’Marie grew up in the small village of Kempston, Bedfordshire and was encouraged to bake for local competitions from an early age. Her inspirations come from a family line of great bakers and where many traditional methods are used today in her present baking. She set up Just 4U Cakes after taking voluntary redundancy as an orthopaedic nurse in 2014, she is a self-taught cake artist specialising in cakes, cupcakes and cookies, catering for family, corporate occasions and professional photographers for Cake Smash cakes.
Over the years she has raised much needed funds for charities; a solo bike ride raising £300 for the homeless and celebration memory cakes for the children at Keech Children’s Hospice, Luton.
Just 4U Cakes is a fully licensed and insured business, certified to create Allergen and Dietary requested orders and completed Level 2 in Health & Hygiene. To reach Clair’Marie’s high standard of baking, quality ingredients and local produce are always used.
Clair’Marie recently received an overwhelming response to her ‘Owls for End of Term Gifts’ Blog.
“The orders came flooding in, which brought happy tears to my eyes (being the new girl in town). I created the owls because my mum loves them, so many customers messaged me saying ‘They are too cute to eat and others not believing they were actually cake!’ To be embraced locally so quickly has been truly wonderful, making cakes is my life passion; bringing a smile to someone’s face is magical.”
