It’s great to find out how people started their own local businesses and why. ‘Made With Love and Care’
This is the logo chosen by a fairly new and thriving Littleport business, ‘Kidd’s Kitchen’.
Debbie Kidd spent 20 years working in the catering and training industry, but eventually decided, with the support of her husband Adrian, to turn her expertise into starting their own catering business working from home so that is how Kidd’s Kitchen came to fruition in summer 2014.
The food is sourced from local suppliers; the staff are qualified and hold the appropriate Food Hygiene Certificates, and the business carries the highest rating of five stars awarded by Environmental Health.
Debbie’s company caters for various kinds of events from private dinner parties, to weddings, christening, funerals, garden parties, afternoon teas plus corporate and business lunches and BBQ’s covering areas in Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex.
They have an informative website www. kiddskitchen.co.uk with many glowing testimonials from satisfied customers such as “a fabulous wedding cake detailed in flowers which was exquisite and perfectly coloured that matched our wedding theme” to an “amazing variety of chutneys.”
If you want to know a bit more about Kidd’s Kitchen, you can actually catch them at Mildenhall Market every Friday and Ely Market every Thursday and Saturday.
