Mark and Eva Mason aka MAM Tiling are loyal advertisers whose contribution supports this magazine, as well as bringing their product to the notice of its thousands of readers.
They sit behind Sharman’s Garden Centre in Camel Road and their neighbours are Port Plumbing who also support the publication of your magazine with a regular advert, not forgetting ‘It’s Wonderful’ the gift shop with a difference next to the tea room at the Garden Centre!.
Eva welcomed me into their showroom which was displaying their very impressive lit up beige tiled kitchen which was specially designed by MAM Tiling.
Mark’s working CV speaks for itself having tiled many a project from hotels, showrooms to new builds and private homes. The Masons felt there was a niche in the market for serving the local Littleport community so hence MAM Tiling came into being in February 2010, but they didn’t in fact open to the public until May of that year.
“We are doing a lot of wood effect tiles which has taken the place of laminated tiles. People have gone more for this because it doesn’t cause you to slip”, informed Eva, who told Littleport Life that this year is discount year taking 10% off the price which includes labour, tiles and materials.
“We are a bit different and unique from other competitors. Not only because we are local, but in that we include both the tiles and the workforce i.e. supply and fit in our costings, and we give expert advice and support.”
As a thank you to all their local customers Mark and Eva offer a superb free delivery 30 service.
Good news for MAM Tiling is that their business is continuing to thrive, and they have been very busy.
“I think people now know we exist and we even get customers coming from as far as Cambridge because of our affordable prices,” said Eva.
They are pleased to announce that their designer bathrooms are also selling well. It seems that tiles have taken over from old fashioned lino and thick carpet because you can keep tiles clean and it’s easier to maintain.
Even hallways are being tiled and MAM Tiling are delighted to be part of this fashionable change in the bathroom and kitchen market.
You can see MAM Tiling’s finished work when you visit The Poets House which is a new boutique hotel based in Ely, and The Anchor at Little Downham.
They are also heavily involved with Cannon & Kirk Builders and the new houses being built in Highfield.
This year is discount year and MAM Tiling are happy to provide 10% off when labour, tiles and materials are taken together. Just log on to MAM Tiling’s website and you can see exactly what they provide. You won’t be disappointed!
