The Swan on the River is currently building five double rooms on the ground floor, fronting on to the river, which they hope to have completed and fully operational by the middle of July.
“They will all be accessible to wheelchair users, and one room will be specifically designed to be disabled friendly. All the rooms will be comfortably furnished in a modern, contemporary style, in keeping with the style of the pub as a whole, with all en-suite rooms overlooking the river. They will be comfortable and welcoming for all business people, leisure visitors, as well as enthusiastic anglers wanting to wake up, fish and then have breakfast!
“Quiet and distanced from the road and the pub bar, our rooms will include a new cooked breakfast service,” the joint Swan on the River Landlord Frank Burrow told Littleport Life.
