Littleport Brass has put Littleport on the musical map for all lovers of the big sound that is a brass band!
The members of the band play for love and no money! But that is no criteria for their musicianship and these gifted players do Littleport proud wherever and whenever they perform.
They have done extremely well over the lockdown period and are now looking forward to entertaining us all more in the coming winter months.
On Saturday December 11th there is an Ely cathedral community sing from 2pm – 3pm with a choir and a service of singing and literally pure enjoyment.
Then on Sunday 12th December the concert they have entitled Festive Cheer at 3pm at the comfortable Littleport Ex-Servicemen’s Club on Ponts Hill.
The first half is non-Christmas secular music and after the interval the second half is a full Christmas music programme with a special guest in red making an appearance.
Tickets are £5 and under 12’s are free (but still need a ticket as only allowed 75 in hall with the band due to COVID rules)
On Friday 17th December you’ll find the band at 6pm playing carols at Ely Tesco. Then on Sunday 6th March the band presents an area test preview at 2pm at the Littleport Academy.
Do look out for the Littleport Brass social media presence. They are on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram!
