They are all doing a charity cycle ride to Hunstanton to raise money for the Little Miracles Charity which supports families who have children with additional needs, disabilities and life limiting conditions.
“The mileage isn’t as many as 100 ordinarily, but we are thinking of doing a different route which will take us up to the 100 miles. We will be stopping every 12 miles, so it will take us 3 to 4 hours to complete, and we are starting it on Saturday 16th of December at 6 am which is the last Saturday shopping day for Christmas.
“We hope to raise £1,000 for this worthwhile children’s charity. And we have even set up ‘A Just Giving’ Facebook page, plus we have the text number also printed on our sponsored tee-shirts,” said Littleport’s Adam Mason, who along with his charity cycling team mate Jonathan have also just given up smoking which is a challenge in itself.
“A massive thanks goes out to our two sponsors Tammy Shipp at A10 printing and Steve Shipp at Premier Signs which really has helped our cause,” concluded Adam, who knows that there will be a fish and chip supper waiting for all of them when they complete the course.
