The Library Presents… Arts Alive Events in Spring 2018

This autumn Littleport Library hosted famous author and comedian James Campbell performing Comedy 4 Kids. There were also some energetic samba drumming workshops. Thanks to everyone who attended these events that are part of The Library Presents … Arts Alive programme (funded by Arts Council England).

In February 2018 Littleport Library presents two more fantastic professional performances.

Robert Lloyd Parry will be performing ‘Oh Whistle’, two ghost stories by M R James, on Friday 2nd February 7.30pm. Hear stories new to Littleport of nocturnal horror on the Suffolk coast and of witchcraft and vengeance down the generations. “Lloyd Parry catches the sense of dread that gives James his originality”- The Times.

On Saturday 10th February 7pm the much loved Opera Dudes will be entertaining on a larger scale than ever before in the newly refurbished leisure centre. The perfect combination of comedy and opera for a fun Saturday night out.

There are more events happening in Soham Library just down the road, including a story telling event for children. March, Wisbech and Chatteris libraries are also hosting events. You can find out about other events and book tickets at: www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/arts

Tickets will be released in January. Prices for the spring Littleport events are £7 standard and £4 concessions (include over 65’s, under 16’s, registered disabled, carers, students and unwaged). Prices for other events and workshops range from £7 to free.
