Littleport Footballer goes to Peterborough United youth team!

Lennon White is becoming a much soughtafter talent since completing a successful season with Peterborough United’s Under 12 side.

The side has only lost 3 matches all season and without hesitation Peterborough rewarded him with a two-year extension to his existing professional contract. And so Lennon will then be playing for Peterborough United’s Under 14’s and one day he may even play for Liverpool, the Premier League team he supports!

Lennon’s proud father, Alan, has been heavily involved with Littleport Town FC and Reserves over the last few seasons. Alan told Littleport Life “In fact Lennon who now plays left wing back, first started football when he could walk. He first played locally for Littleport Town before moving on to represent Ely Crusaders.”

Lennon enjoyed a lap of honour with the first team players of Peterborough United after their last match of the season, before being taken to Old Trafford the next day to watch his Dad’s beloved Manchester United!

“I am just so proud of what Lennon has achieved in such a short space of time, and I’ll support him all I can to help him to reach that goal,” said a delighted Alan White.
