Ely Roller Skating Club will be hosting their first gala on 15th and 16th September this year.
The club who train at Littleport Leisure Centre three times a week, will be using Cambridge University Sports Centre for the competition and are expecting over 500 skaters from a number of different clubs to attend.
The club, who have 3 skaters heading to the German Cup, representing Great Britain in May, are busy fundraising to cover the costs of running the event.
They are looking for a variety of sponsors for the event which will cost in the region of £8,000. They have different levels of participation available, including: have a ¼ page advert in our programme for £35 or a full-page advert in our programme at £50.
Sponsor a trophy for an event (approx. 50 events available) at £50 to £100.
Sponsor all the ribbons and medals for the event, and have your logo/name on each ribbon for £300.
Provide water for the athletes: £250.
They are also looking for donations of raffle and tombola prizes for stalls at the competition and will be holding fundraising events such as bingo and quiz nights, as well as tombola and table top stalls at Littleport Leisure Centre.
