Littleport Leisure: Update from Manager Debra Jordan

Greetings and warm wishes from Littleport Leisure. We have missed you all!

As you know, weeks before the lockdown, we had instigated hand cleaning stations, further cleaning of soft play and equipment, plus a complete overhaul of our cleaning practices to disable this horrible germ. These will all be further enhanced to ensure your safety as much as is practicable.

We were open for one day in May for blood donors as we felt this important health function should not be cancelled. As it turned out, many venues had cancelled their provision and they were delighted that Littleport Leisure opened their doors to them. Huge congratulations to all the donors who attended and replenished the stocks of blood.

When we welcome you all back we will have put in place many measures to secure your safety and give you confidence in visiting the centre.

Our three current gym areas (main gym, functional suite and outdoor balcony) have undergone stringent safety tests that ensure social distancing together with enhanced cleaning regimes. This also applies to classes.

Please continue to have the pleasure of using the fields for your daily exercise as our contractors have maintained all grassed areas. The bins are emptied on a regular basis and may be used for bags of dog poo. We would really appreciate dog walkers keeping a close eye on their dogs and clearing up after them.

Keep up to date checking for announcements on our Facebook page and via email.
