The day finally arrived when Thomas Peacock, the founder of Hope Brothers factory was officially recognised for all that he did for his home village of Littleport. Thanks are due to the family of his brother William (to whom he was very close) a plaque was presented as a gift to Littleport and unveiled by Valerie Beattie. Littleport Village Hall

The Littleport Village Hall Management Committee along with the Parish Council have made great improvements to the main Hall. The high ceiling has been completely re-boarded and decorated along with the Walls. The rear of the stage has also been renovated with the small toilet being renewed and the floor being levelled and floor covering laid. This has made the Hall a very bookable venue for anyone to hold a function at very reasonable prices….

Littleport Village Defibrillator

A defibrillator has been purchased for Littleport Village. It is attached to the wall of the Village Hall on Victoria Street. The defibrillator was formally unveiled at 11am on Saturday 11th March 2017, in the Village Hall. The defibrillator and cabinet is the first of three being purchased for the village.
