During the Remembrance period 2017 I received the final figure for the Poppy Appeal of 2016; our financial and collection period being from 1 October to 30 September. For 2016 the final total came to £10,779.34 which was, by far, the best total ever achieved in Littleport. Amphibians need our help. That was the message of the Peacocks Meadow volunteers in January. The committee organised a workshop for volunteers to create an awesome array of Frog Houses & Toad Abodes. Littleport’s Roller Skaters are Doing Well!

Last year Littleport based Ely Roller Skating Club achieved the best ever tally of medals, beating all records by winning 67 medals from 10 competitions. The Littleport Village Hall Management Committee along with the Parish Council have made great improvements to the main Hall. The high ceiling has been completely re-boarded and decorated along with the Walls.
