Why not bring the whole family? You will all be most welcome.
It will tour to a variety of locations, including Ely Museum, before finding a permanent home in the Adams Heritage Centre.
e all have garments which we keep for the sake of the special memories they hold. It could be a wedding dress, a soldier’s tunic, an old school blazer, a baby’s first jacket, or a grandmother’s coat.
Each one will have a tale to tell and a story to share.
And residents are invited to contribute buttons from to go on to our Button Tree.
We will also be able to scan photographs on to fabric and incorporate them into this textile work, to form a truly memorable ‘community memory gallery’.
So, just bring your buttons, your stories and photographs, along to our workshop sessions.
